Marian St Theatre is rebuilt into a multi-purpose space for the performing arts in Ku-ring-gai, offering art-lovers of all ages and backgrounds a place to gather, to be inspired, and delighted by a diverse range of artistic, cultural and community events.
Why?
Art and culture have the power to inspire and transform our lives, but a vibrant creative space does not yet exist in Ku-ring-gai. The new Marian Street will be a jewel of arts and culture, providing an inclusive and accessible space for everyone from our increasingly diverse local community to experience a broad range of artistic, cultural and community activities. This has been a long-standing dream of the community. It will serve as a sanctuary for both a maturing audience and a fresh new generation of curious minds. With the building closed since 2013, it is urgent that the next generation of young people do not miss out. By rebuilding this treasured community space now, we can ignite a spark of creativity that will bring joy, enlightenment and a sense of belonging to our community. Together, let’s create a cultural oasis in the heart of Ku-ring-gai that will inspire us for generations to come.
