Announcement – NSW Parliament petition. Volunteer call out

Community meeting Sunday 15 February, Gordon Library.

Make Your Voice Heard for Marian St Theatre. The Arts Should Not Come Last.

Marian St Theatre has now been closed for 13 years. There is an approved design for a multipurpose arts and cultural hub. We need action.

We are preparing a petition to NSW Parliament to be presented this year by our local MP, Matt Cross. The petition will only be open for a short window, so we need to be ready to gather thousands of signatures to make it count.

Sunday 15 February
3:30 – 4:30pm
Gordon Library, Meeting Room 1

Matt Cross MP will attend, and Councillors have been invited.

Can you help?
If you want to see Marian St Theatre reopened, please come along. You might have a strong network to share the petition with, ideas for reaching lots of people, or time to help distribute posters locally. Or you may simply want to be involved – we need everyone.

Please RSVP so we can plan numbers.

This is the single most impactful thing we can collectively do right now to get the theatre reopened.
